Thank you Uncle John. The gear is: CBG, "onkart gromt" Norwegian built overdrive pedal (http://www.onkartgromt.no/index.php?option=com_content&view=art...) and into a H4 Zoom recorder in 4 track mode. Doing it this way eliminates the noise/room ambiance problem. Percussion track made in propellerhead figure application on my phone and recorded on one of the Zoom tracks. The parts are panned in such a way my students who are rehearsing their part can use one plug of the headphones as a playalong.
