One thing I have learned is that is a bad spot to place the volume and tone knobs. They keep rubbing into your body when playing - I think I'm going to make a cover plate for the current holes and move them to the face.

And a little very helpful critiquing at the end - I'll be shaving down just a little more of the back of the neck next week. :)

 

For anyone who is building guitars without already being great player, I recommend finding a good player who is willing to test out what you're working on. The tips and ideas of ways to make each instrument play smoother can be a great help. Thanks John!
