Busking - St Ives - Playing On The Street - w home made CBG & PVC Sax

It was recorded before I’d started making the PVC Sax things, so sounds very weird to me now when I look back on it with the “mouth trumpet” lol?!
I love the little girl who comes in at about 3mins 40secs. She notices the music then walks along dancing and giggling :-)
I can NEVER remember all the lyrics to this song?! Lines appear in various orders, or not at all.
Sometimes if I feel I might not know a song well I will go through how it goes in my head before starting to play. More often I deliberately don’t and just start playing to see what happens. That way it stays fresh and fun as I have to come up with something, which is making me better at improvising!
I loop those two chords and the clapping, then what happens next is anyone’s guess!

Comment by bemuzic on July 20, 2022 at 9:27am: How rude to laugh at my Sax ;-) Trouble is I now have too many songs for me to remember properly (not helped by all the forced interruptions for lockdowns, getting Covid etc) but don't want to reduce the list. On the plus side it's definitely making me better at improvising, which has to be a good thing :-)
