I was kind of wondering about something like that Bruce.  Thanks for the tip!  I'll probably give that a try this weekend.

Hi Turtle,

Great informational video.  I might get one of those. If you want to have a battery for it, I made an outboard 9V rig that I use to quickly get a pedal going again if the battery goes out. Just solder a battery snap to the proper plug for you pedal. Be sure to get the polarity right!  Most pedals take a negative center.  Hope it works for getting that thing away from wall dependency.

Yup t.head I've saved three of my fav pedals but mostly play acoustic now. The quest for tone is all in one's hands thataway!

Yeah wes, not much boost going on.  I think I might build a preamp to go in front of it and see what happens.  Fun stuff.

I'm with you Jim on the search for tone and all the pedals.  I've tried really hard not to go down that road.  I wouldn't say this is a magic bullet for piezos - I think you need to start off with a decent sound first, but this does put some icing on the cake.  Looking forward to experimenting with it some more.

It was wet and heavy here Nancy.  I'm just getting done digging out - I think I'm ready for a nap!
