Ashokan Farewell (Take 3,561 :-D)

Fell in love with this tune when watched the Ken Burns, The Civil War Doco a few yrs ago, was also very impressed with the Marinie Toman version posted on the Nation site a few months back, adapted it as best I could to suit "The Ham Fisted Bricklayer",s style of Slidin' :-D

Comment by Dave Lynas on June 6, 2018 at 10:58pm: You did great AGP. It sounded good as a slide tune. I play it with my band mates. They do the melody on fiddle and mandolin. I just accompany on slide. I loved the Ken Burns Civil War series. The best tv had to offer.
