"yes there is. and it does matter. use a 1.5 V AA battery . use wires to connect the bat terminals to the speaker in a short burst. if the speaker cone moves forward then the terminal that you touched with the positive lead of the battery is the +…"

"Pretty sure it wouldn't take it but you could test it by putting about 45lbs of weight on it. You could also use the other side of the tin for the soundboard and build a terrarium inside that can be viewed from the back.  : )"

Picked this tin up for $1 nice drum sound from the clear plastic lid... diameter is 200mm/8" was thinking of a uke maybe not sure the lid would take the tension of 3 steel strings.See More

neck fretted and how not to do it!

finally got the nerve to fret the neck and ran out of glue half way through. so i got some more glue today i am using Loctite Gel Control in a silver bottle with blue side grips. worth the $5.80 AUD it cost. the other glues i tried either took too long to set or soaked into the wood and didnt…

Hi everyone, my name is tim.

I have been playing guitar on and off ( mostly off tune) since i was about 13 when my step father found a handmade guitar under someones house when he was installing telephones back in 1973.

 I have seen Cigar Box Guitars around over the years and always wanted to have a go with one. So i figure now is the time to start and after reading through the forums here and a intensive 3 week google self education binge it time!
