Wow. Thanks Unc. That's a huge compliment coming from a seasond CBG guy like yourself. I really appreciate it. But to tell you the truth, I feel like I'm trying to keep up with guys like you. That resonator you have up there is gorgeous. And I love that one in the pic with your hat and pistol.
thank you for the kind comment on the bowtie bridge uncle john. I see you have a real nice colection of cbgs very nice, I really like the licence plate one. got a pretty short neck, but it looks really cool.

Thanks for the comment on Earworm Uncle John. You are a kind man! The doctor told me I could start using the thumb to pick a little and it actually feels much better than it did before the surgery. See ya 'round

Thanks for your kind words. The fork handle technique is a cheap solution to a problem. I got mine at a local second hand store for 10 cents. You can them at dollar stores for 50 cents each. If you're really lucky you might find something at a flea market or garage sale that's has some fancy scroll work like the one I found. I'm glad you found my build helpful!
Hi - thanks for your comment - I always use Tung oil on the necks but French Polish or varnish on boxes - think I am converted to wax on these old boxes now - much more natural somehow - Happy Holidays to you
cool Uncle John i've use'd lots of tunings most of the time it's to simplfy something that is to hard to play in my standard tunings. this also works into CBG design and string guages thank's for the reply Ice Bob
