I am a little confused. I saw this ad on ebay for 7.25" O.D. cones (aluminum) constructed by you.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cigar-Box-Guitar-Old-Lowe-Resonator-parts-cover-and-cone-Build-3-or-4-string/253205442985?hash=item3af43871a9:g:PE4AAOSwRqxZ39Ke

This page says your cones are brass and 6.5" O.D. Do you make a 7.25" O.D. spun brass cone? Do you think it would take the downward pressure of 30" bass strings? Would it accommodate a 3" biscuit for the bridge? The normal string spacing for this bass is 2&5/16" from E to G. I like the look of your brass cones and covers. I would like to use them to add a resonator to an acoustic bass guitar if they would work. Thank you for your time and attention. My email remains GZboat@yahoo.com

Hi Lowe, I am interested in adding a resonator to a Applause acoustic bass guitar. Your spun brass cones look very cool and they have an integral mounting ring, correct? That would really simplify my build. Do you ever, or would you consider, building a cone in a larger size, say 8.25" to 9.5"? I'd need a cone, cover plate, biscuit, saddle, and trapeze. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. If you want to continue this conversation privately, please just email me at GZboat@yahoo.com. Thank you for your time.

Hi Lowe, used to live in Rockwall many years ago. I am new to cigar box nation but am quit interested I making a 3 string resonator with your parts. Can you get back to me and let me know pricing for cone, cover, Bisket and any additional hardware needed. I am also looking for plans that would assist in the build. I have a PayPal account and have purchased items from Dan Sleep.

Howdy Mr. Lowe! I was thinking of putting together a new dulcimer build with a double course - could I ask you how close you put the 2 strings, and how you tune them? Cheers!

I've built about 20 CBGs and am ready to build a reso. Do you sell a kit with a cone, a bridge or whatever I need to make it work. I could go thru Gitty but I'm not far from you in ft Worth. I think I would want to go with Brass. Give me some input and dos and don'ts. thanks,

Ken
