It eliminates feedback and damps down the sounds from handling the guitar.Also replacing the piezo wires with twin core screened audio lead helps

I cut a slice of plastic waste pipe about 15mm deep,half fill it with hot glue,sit the piezo disc on top of the glue then fill to the top with more glue.

I originally sat the pipe on a polythene sheet then filled it,but now I sit the pipe where it's to be located under the bridge so when it's cold it's fixed.
