Hi there, Paul. My husband and I met you at Eumundi Markets some weeks ago and my husband was very interested to ask you all about the guitars, and he bought a CD. He's really taken an interest and wants to learn to play. His birthday is coming up in February and I would like to get him a cigar box guitar. I know you run courses in making them, but we are in Canberra. I have found the CB Gitty website, so I could order a kit from America for making a cigar box guitar, but I'm wondering if there's any way to do this closer to home. It would be good to get hold of something inside Australia. Do you sell the kits, or already made guitars? Otherwise, can you suggest anyone else? I'm keen to get hold of something before 15 February, if I can.
Hi Paul
My dad say your cigar box guitars at the markets and loved them. We were hoping to get him one for Christmas. Do you have a website where the are for sale? my email is kaje_82@homtail.com. We live in Perth WA.
Hey good luck with the move.... as Gary will be up there this weekend you should get him to help...lol

Paul, that sounds like a great idea. Could you take a photo of that wire bending jig and post it so I can see it? I would appreciate it very much. Thank you for the advice. Great idea.

Paul, you have made some very nice CBGs. I love the jukebox one; it is beautiful. All of them are beautiful. You are very talented and have great ideas. Very nice job.
Penny said you used metal clothes hangers for fret wires. Can you give me some tips on using them? I am working on my first tin CBG. I am using the metal coat hangers for fret wire. I have already cut them up, but now need to file them to shorten for the slots on the neck. I would appreciate it very much if you could give me some advice. Thanks.
thankyou Kindly Paul! great respect for the totally artistic creations seen here....my poor mind is chomping at the bit,...soon I shall embark on a build!.we need 48 hour days!:-) all the best in 2010!

Thanks Paul, not as cool as the ones you make but funds didnt run to that at the time so got my Redneck Geetar from ebay as a starter. I
'm from the Centenary Suburbs in Brisbane & was up visiting with Krusey at Eumundi Markets (sells drums & Fire Sticks) and stumbled accross your stall when doing the rounds. It was the first time I had heard or seen a CGB & fell in love with the sound and the whole ethos of CBG's. I'm not a guitarist but then again a year ago I wasn't a drummer either - lol. With persistance I will prevail... or so I keep telling myself...
Hi Paul. Thanks for the comment. This is my first buildand not my last. Had fun with it and learned quite a bit already. Looking forward to doing more.
Regards, Mike Ptolomey, W.A.
