Thanks for your comments. The hub cap was from an old 'Morris'.

The block is a solid block with a microphone in it which can be used as percussion if stamped on.

There are a load of brands mostly made by Teisco in Japan. I'm rebuilding a Stella parlor guitar right now. It was "completely broken" as the ad read on ebay.
