To echo the sentiments of all , yer tune was a superb way to lead us off, just heard it again today , just wanted to say how much I dig it,Top Notch Pickin,Salud, play on
Heard your version of the Bob Dylan's "Shelter From the Storm" and was blown away, this is the sleeper song on the album we all did together in colab, for someone who lived those days, during the seventies, and listened to that song over and over, I was brought back through the decades by your version of one of his best songs. Job well done, Downtown Vinnie sends his regards, a room away from SmartyPants, when he was playing your song i thought it was Bob Dylan himself somehow transported into Vinnies studio.
Hey I just realized you were No Show Jones for the Beatles Record, sure you had your reasons would been even better with you. I'll patronize whoever I want.
It was a real pleasure meeting you and your other half too. You're a real gentleman and it was a shame you weren't around Saturday for some more fun. Please apologise to your missus for talking rambling shit to her outside! See you next year or earlier if we get this northern/yorkshire group meeting off the ground
I found that too on the Cohiba one I made for my mate. I just took my time with it (nearly a week!), Once I had the idea mapped out in my head though, I felt better to soldier on, even thogh it was finished literally two days before fathers day! A neighbor across the road saw me working on and playing a CBG in my garage and has asked me to build him one for his son's birthday too! He's even bought a cigar box for it! As it goes my arm is in a cast until mid-August so I'm cramming as much knowledge as possible til then. Busy times ahead methinks. Get cracking with your comission, with two builds under your belt you'll be reet.
Cheers Vinylhed, proper looking forward to getting stuck in again! A lot of wrongs to be righted, but I think that's all part of the fun of learning ;) .
I decided to do a special song this week in honor of my younger sister's birthday. This is an angsty but cute Jax song about eating disorders. I hope everybo...
