Git for sure. No sound holes though, piezo in the bridge and bridge placement right behind the guys ass so you can see the whole label. I f you must do sound holes put them around the outside, I've done this before and it works fine. Put the jack out the left side of the box with no vloume knob, the focal point is the front of this cool box. Keep it as clean as possible.

As far as the second box I have never built with a banded box before as the front band seems to get in the way for strumming. Amp maybe?

Also the inside is lined with tin. That means it's already shielded :)
