Resonator tailpiece to saddle distance

I'm starting my first resonator build and was wondering if there is anything particular about to the distance between the tail piece and saddle? I would be using a normal drop in cone with a biscuit and saddle screwed to the cone.

Comment by darryl kernaghan on April 18, 2017 at 11:53am: Dave, generally it doesn't matter as long as you can get a good break angle over the saddle with your strings, the critical measurements are from the saddle forward
