I've just bought an inexpensive looper pedal (Lekato) and found that it records my 3-string CBG and 2-string CBB with minimal effort. The looper exports a high-quality WAV file via a USB connector, which I convert to MP3 after editing (gain, fade in/fade out, etc) with Audacity.
I'll try to attach a couple of examples. One is overdubbed guitar, and the other is guitar + bass.
Many thanks BrianQ. The looper quality is great, but mono. I'll explore Audacity more (current version 3.2.4) to try multiple tracks, reverb, compression, etc.
Thanx for sharing your efforts Sean!! Sounds awesome!!! I have a few of those loopers too, the Lekato is identical to Donner, Amoon, Sonicake & many others in the price range? The clarity of the sampling is actually surprising, despite the low memory rate of the chip. Good to see somebody’s still using Audacity, it’s a great program, I downloaded it from the link in one of the groups here years & years ago. Maybe you could add more in-depth information about your production between the Looper & Editing software on down the road? I think that would be a great to all :)
