Comment by CaptnCatfish on August 28, 2023 at 9:25pm: Hi Brian, our CBG festival is coming, and this year a couple of guys showed up and asked to play with Mandolins on the jam stage.They all have regular instruments, but we want to have as much handmade instruments as possible on our stages, so I decided to build one.

A friend of mine, a luthier gave me some plans, what to look for building a mandolin, so I gave it a try.Today one player is coming over to make a video, I will share that.…

btw…a lot of strings, keeps you very busy adjusting the bridge, that is no instrument to play with my carpenters fingers 😉
