A while back a fellow came into my shop in WV while visiting his parents who live nearby. He purchased a Gourd Banjo and CB Fiddle, my two highest priced items, saying he was a musician and composer from California. I got nosy and looked him up. This is him!!

Lost two friends today within 24 hours. One was a well known rockabilly guitarist and bass player for Danny Gatton and the Fat Boys.  Billy Hancock used to come to my gigs and be real supportive of what I was playing.

Hey everyone, I'll be heading to the Appalachian String Band Festival (Clifftop, WV) soon and gone for a week. This American roots music festival leans heavily toward traditional fiddle and banjo tunes but there are also groups of blues, cajun and New Orleans brass band folks there as well - all acoustic music.
