How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?: A search of the internet

How many instruments have you built so far?: One

What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).: They seemed to me to be an instrument that I could try and build myself. In my retirement it was an exciting idea. I love the history of them: how people who couldn't afford a "proper" guitar could still make wonderful music!
