Hi Selena. I grew up in Waldorf and still have family there so I go there often even though I now live in WV. It's great to see your interest in homemade instruments and that you teach others at the camp you mentioned. I see SlowHound has contacted you. I know he's in the S.MD area and is a cool CBG enthusiast. Folks at this site have helped and encouraged me when I was starting and I know you'll find a bunch of support here as well. Good luck with your bulids and with the camp.
