hey there i just stopped by ta say yep the headstock on that 4 string lap steel i built is really simple. i used the blocks from the inside of a cigar box.these blocks that come in a cigar box is the same size as a cigar and are used in packaging the cigars to make the count in the box come out correctly. for example if you have a box of 25 cigars and you stack them in 2 rows and the top row has a space in it---you put the block in the row under it so that the top row is full.any how i used 2 blocks cut one in half for the sides where the tuners mount and screwed the 4 pieces together to make a square then screwed the square to the level. easy to do. thanks for the comment.

Glad you had a good time at the workshop! I was happy to share all my instruments with the group - get their creative juices flowing! Wonder if any of them will show up at Horner Park?

Hi there PRH,

thanks for the friend invite, which I am delighted to accept, and thankyou very much for your welcomed comments about my builds. I do admit to liking long and thin. This has probably been because of the types of boxed and materials that I have come across. I'm really happy that some people seem to like my 'creations'.

Thanks again.
