I’ll size the neck for a D. You can mark it up if you wish. I don’t use a specific scale length but I can easily do a specific if you tell me the length you want. :^)

Now I know Matthew. What key do you like to play in? The length of the neck determines the key. G is a cello string long neck. D and E are short viola size backs.

Matthew. Hand tools rule! I use some power tools but they are old, worn out relics like myself. :^)

That’s great Matthew. It will take me a while too but i’m On it. Do you like the cigar box fiddles I make? I have some wonderful vintage boxes begging me to build with them.
