yeah .. lol .. funny , when you replied ,, i figured you just typed it in wrong and meant korea was better etc ,,.
but yeah .. the korean stuff was always a step better .. in most cases still is today .

still , there's something to be said for those old jap guitars and their vintage pickup sound that modern guitars cant seem to duplicate . combine that with its rareity , and recent boom in vintage jap guitars .. and you got a keeper ;-)
found this- " Emperador was the entry level brand to the Cort line of Westheimer Musical Instruments of Chicago, IL (source: Harmony Central ). Made from 1966 to 1992, these were originally Japanese-made guitars in the 1960's by the Kasuga Company. Later models were made in Korea."from what i hear the japan models were ;lower quality , and the later korean models were better , as in most cases with korean guits . ps . The Beach Boys' Carl Wilson, played an Emperador guitar at one time.
