"Top should vibrate, but not rattle. Sometimes that can be hard to fix because screws or brad nails don't want to stay in the plywood sides or fiberboard tops. Those corner pieces that Will suggested work good and the those little hook locks…"

Cigar Box Vibrates!
Hi,I've got my first cigar box guitar I built. I bought the neck and completed the rest myself including drilling holes to install the tuning pegs. I don't play much yet, but after tuning it up I strummed it. I get a vibration from the cigar box between the lid and box. If I place my hand on the lid and strum it no vibration occurs. Any suggestions for limiting or stopping vibration between the box and lid are appreciated. I don't want to glue it shut. I might need access in the future to…See More
