Hi All. I'm busy trying my hand out at building a 3-pole single coil pickup for my next CBG (probably a Steampunk). I have started the construction of the bobbin and am using 3 Alnico 5 pole pieces.…Continue

This is my attempt at the Paul Giraud Cognac Box Guitar! The pick up I made myself and is a single coil 3-pole pickup. It's a very small guitar but has an impressive sound!

"Got this Paul Giraud Cognac box measuring 10cm x 10cm x 32cm. Going to make it into a 25inch fretted CBG! Bit of a challenge!"

The Alex Bradley Tempus Terra Nova Slide CBG - Revisited

As with most of my builds I have revisited my first CBG. Thought you might like to see how I added wooden toothpicks to identify the frets. They are flush with the fret board so the CBG is still a slide guitar. I think it makes the CBG a little more attractive. The neck is also given a few coatings of clear Rust-Oleum for protection.
