CBG Bass Pickup

I'm building a 2 string CBG bass.  I'm not savvy on pickups.  Is there a "special" pickup for bass guitars? Or can any humbucker be used?  Continue

"Yes you can use a humbucker. Normal bass pickups are designed to be punchy. This helps the bass cut through the mix when playing with other people. Humbuckers are not quite as punchy. But will still give you a good sound. "
