Hi Darren, no rush at all. I'm also not too fussy about sizes and styles, I'd be up for a lucky dip of six different size/style boxes and would just build to suit, I have more fun doing that. If and when you get around to sorting them it would be great if you'd keep me in mind though, thanks. Good luck with the show!

I'd be interested in a few (maybe 5 to 10.......not 500 !) natural finish boxes of a decent size, maybe 10" x 7" ish.  I'm in Cambridgeshire so fairly local to you.

I can just imagine you seeing the size of your haul and wishing you'd read the small print !

Posed pictures often get lost quickly because of the huge numbers put on the site - to sell them I'd start a discussion on the "The Brits are coming" group. 

Large boxes are hard to come by so make sure you keep enough for yourself.

I used to do a lot of cycle events in your area a few years ago.

I started playing guitars about45  years ago and came to cigar box styled instruments about 4 or 5 years ago and until very recently I played in public  several times a month.

Age and work have forced me to cut back a bit but I still play in an 'orchestra' and mainly concentrate on bass instruments when playing in ensembles from stand up bass to ukulele bass.

I hope that you are successful at learning an instrument - I hope that it's a cigar box guitar that you've built yourself.  There are oh so many people who will be only too willing to help you.
