- I really like the idea of building an instrument with my own hands and hear it “talk” when it’s done. The simplicity of fewer strings makes for easier playing (for us non-professional types) and makes experimenting with alternate tunings so appealing!

Hi Clint, Gitty sales a version of the 5 way distortion tone pot. It just a small 5 way amp simulator board with a pot you put in place of the tone pot. 2 channel are clean 3 are dirty they do need a 9v battery. People love guitars with these in them.
