  • Thanks guys. It stays in tune great, and doesn't need adjusting anymore often than my guitars with machine heads. It can however be a pain to tune because you have to really crank the wingnut down to keep it from slipping when you're banging away at the strings. When it needs it, I usually tighten the nut first, then use a screw driver through the eye to make the small adjustments.

  • That looks great.  I too have always wanted to try the eyebolt tuner method…how well does it stay in tune?

  • That's a damn good looking headstock. I've never tried that style of tuning machines, but I think I will.
