White Owl Relic

I've had the White Owl cigar box top for several years, but the box was wrecked. And I had an oak box that I made years ago. It was in the shop holding drill bits. Then I got in a building mood.....It's heavy. The oak box had half inch think sides. Long scale, 27 inches. Good sounding piezo. Fair tone and volume unplugged. This one took some tweaking to both the saddle and the nut. But it came out a good playing slider that I can still finger fret pretty well up to the 7th fret. Will likely play it a while then sell cheap or gift it.

  • Thanks Wes and Papa D.   Plays and sounds good.  Heavy.  Will build up Clock's arms.

  • Love it, way kool

  • Thanks, Jim and Dave.  This one does go to Mr. Clock.

  • Clock, go for it. I love the look of this one Uncle. Bet it does sound nice. I've always liked the white owl logo best of all the boxes. It fits just right in your design.

  • I missed this first time around. : /

    NICE!

  • Thanks guys.  I have not played it much yet, but it has good deep, bassy tone.    Clock, it's yours if you want it.  I might want to keep it a couple weeks and play it and tweak it.

  • I'd buy it!!!

  • That's a good looking Guitar Uncle John I love that Antic Relic look you gave it Nice Build Man

  • Nice one Uncle John. It's got some real authentic, depression-era charm!
