Nice chair. My mom passed away at 95 years in October. One thing I wanted from her remaining possessions was an old kitchen chair, which I did get and did refinish. Linda has an old sewing rocker with a redone cane seat. There is a guy here in our small town who (I think) makes a little spending money doing caning. Neat stuff.

Unc--That particular chair belonged to my wife's grandmother. I have been enjoying seat re-caning and chair restoration between CBG's. Similar a bit to building gits from reused stuff in that it makes the old new again.
