  Mike, I appreciate the good words!

  JP, Yeah, no batik on this one, but not because I don't have any waiting in the wings. Didn't want to dampen the acoustics on the top. Maybe in the next bass I have in mind.

  Joe, Thanks for the positive feedback. The woodburning can take awhile to do, it's not hard though, and I enjoy doing it. I'm not a great artist, so I stick to shading patterns, and try to keep it interesting. Doug
