  • must try it sometime.Though the rod piezo I use on my Bourbon (right under the bridge inside the tin, squashed in between the neck and the tin) is very loud.

  • Its like a piezo on crack as it picks up the vibrations from the top of the tin not the strings but so much louder than a piezo..

  • that's interesting that it works through the tin... useful if you don't want to disrupt the design on a tin by cutting a hole in it

  • Yep - had been wanting to try it... I have put in piezos as well for a direct comparision... and the coil it far superior.
