Finished conversion, the Output is way too high for an guitar amp...Earphones can be plugged directly into the Jack :-)

    Hi John,

    the "glow thing" in the sound hole is a vacuum tube used as a preamp in action. See: Valve Amp, The Reso-cone is made of two stainless steel bowls with different diameters, I cut the bottom out of the bigger bowl then glued the smaller one upside down in the hole (maybe visible on the "Batteries" pic).

    Looks neat.  More description would be nice.  What's the glow thing in the sound hole?  What is the reso?
