This is my truss rod setup. I used a 25" long drill bit that I think was made for Styrofoam: that's why there is a burn mark leading to the large hole. You will be able to tighten is from outside the box with a nut driver. As it tightens against the nut in the large hole, it forces the threaded rod up into the neck. Will it work? I guess time will tell.
