The "Weissenbro"

Mash up of a Weissborn style lap steel with a resonator. Timber is from off cuts found in skips from neighbourhood renovations and salvaged antique furniture, mostly Australian hardwoods. Stainless steel trivet as resonator along with sink strainer sound hole cover. Tail piece is "sickle bar" hay mower blade from family farm. Disc piezo under bridge and snake oil humbucker at neck. If only I could play it well enough to do it justice.
