The Red Special

They made the inlays from pearl buttons, binding from shelf edging etc.May has used the Red Special almost exclusively, including on Queen albums and in live performances since the band's advent in the early 1970s.If you ask me, these two forged one of the most powerful objects on earth together, not to mention a rock god. I can't get over this.

  • I'll check it out Rick thanks

  • They made the tremelo bridge with motorcycle valve springs and a wide putty knife blade, amongst other things. If you have not heard Starfleet Project by Brian May and Friends, check it out. You get to hear this guitar and another very famous homemade guitar playing together.
