That's the most brilliant design I saw here this year (well, make it last 6 months).
this is one of the pics that inspired me to get building again a couple years back..

They take alittle more work to make but they look great when finished. And it`s fun carving out a neck with a chainsaw....lol.
Wow. Thought it might be a tree branch.
The tailpiece is bone and the frets are bone too. The neck is a butternut tree limb.
Like it top to bottom, bear to tailpiece. Huh, like the neck and 'finger board' best. What is that tailpiece? And what are the frets?
