  • Nice!!

  • It's a winner!

  • LMAO Jabes .... believe it or not .. this only took about 5 hours to build .. and most of that was waiting for the fretboard to dry when glueing it to the neck.  that copper thing was easy ... one piece about 6" long and just a tad wider than the neck .. it vibrates awsome.

  • that's interesting John ,  been thinking a while about a kinda sheet metal in the box thingummy, this build looking good, how the hell you jump from the dragons to this --you sleep 2 hours a night??ok ..l

  • The top is thick John, but when I built it I left a gap between the neck inside the box and the lid, I then added some copper sheet onto the neck inside, and drilled a few sound holes. It plays great, and to be honest I think this is my best build so far when it comes to the sound.

I tried to concentrate more on the tone this time rather than the artwork which I think payed off. That said, I think I'll do a both on the next build.

  • You are turning our some beauties.  This one just made me gasp- in a good way.  Nice name too.  All gorgeous, but the top wood looks kind of thick.  How's it play and sound?   We to change your name to Prodigious John - Nah...  Does not sound as good as Careless.
