  • Make that one inch, I just re-measured. Should give me a deeper tone playing higher up off the bridge a bit.

  • Thanx guy's...it's only right an antique (me), works with antiques, LOL.Yep, it's a 21" scale and hits about 2" from the bottom of the box. I wanted a smaller box so everything looked in proportion.

  • Wondrous.  And what Jim said.   Remember that the saddle needs to go be the same distance from the 12th fret that the nut is from the 12th fret.  Looks like you have it planned out that way.  I like tenors.

  • Very nice matching of ages Thumper. There are a lot of those tenor necks around since people removed them to make the drum part into a 5 string banjo.
