Teardrop Hoop

This photo shows how I "store" the teardrop hoop with both ends clamped together between block of wood using two clamps. Between the big 180 degree bend and the two ends of this teardrop shaped "hoop" you can see some warping in the sides. I'm going to try to re-soak and re-shape this hoop using two reverse cures just up the neck from the semi- circular body in hopes of both straightening-out the warped sides and to make the neck sides fairly straight and parallel so they will mate well with the headstock without much spring-back pressure on the headstock.
