  I used regular electric guitar strings because there's the magnetic pickup on it. If you build it with a piezo pickup, you'd better use acoustic strings. I'd suggest string gauge 011 for the high a string, mine are only 009 and that's too thin (just had them around). I couldn't find any advices on metal strings on the net so I just tried what was lying around...

  What strings did you use? Got one started, will use metal strings if I can figure out the sizes.
