    I like how you built around the theme of the box. Every little detail on this one is done right, great looking cbg.

    Thank you for the compliments, Jeremiah! Yes, the finish is burned in. I used a small propane torch over an orange shellac finish, then used steel wool to blend the burn into the wood grain, then another coating of orange shellac.

    Detail? You certainly have an eye for that. The fret markers, to the tail-piece medallion... The burst finish.
