  • It seems to work well... the tension is high but I screwed and used wood glue at the end and until now I have no probs... it stays well in tune and you need a svrew driver to tune it.. .this is a little bit tricky but it works well
  • Yep, thats pretty cool. Whats to stop the end peice (which the screws are drilled into) from snapping off? There must be a lot of tension on it.
  • YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
  • WOW is all I have to say! You should work for NASA! LOL That is a GREAT invent there!
  • cool...took me a minute to figure out how that works, I definatley would have never thought of it
  • That is really clever!
  • Thanks a lot ;-)
I developed another one... which is even better I think. I will upload pics later.
There is no tube in the wood but it is not really critical. But I have to admit that the closer the nut comes to the end it is harder to screw it up but my new design solved that problem... I also think it is not necessary to cut the wing nut... next time I just will cut out a piece of the neck and put the screws through it... that's much easier and should also work well... will upload my new design later.
  • Is there a tube inside the wood to keep it from warring out the wood?
  • That's really a great idea you have there.
