  • Don't know how baritone ukes are tuned. But mandoline/mandola chords will certainly work. I've just put wax on the sides. I have a dano 63 baritone. Great Instrument btw.

    Pickup is a Flatpup 4 from Elmar Zeilhofer (Austria).

    The low string is G, the highest is E, like a violin. I've played it for half a week now and also tried to get along with the different tuning, but it works great. It's quite easy to play barré chords and from major to minor you just have to lift one finger. Definitely not the easiest tuning for solo play. But it's easy for a violin player to change to this tuning than to the standard guitar tuning.
