Making progress on the Sitar neck.24 frets and 8 rosewood tuning pegs for the sympathetic strings installed. The brass nails will be the nuts for the symp strings.

??? I bought 4 pegs from the local music store .,.,$25.,., to use on a violin I paid $27 for from China on Ebay.,.,.,!! you got a great deal there .,.,.,!! On another note I really dig scallopped fingerboards, and those look like some mighty deep scallops.,.,LOL.,.,
Thank you Jerry , I'm pretty happy with how it is turning out so far. Those rosewood pegs from China were a steal! I only paid $4.80 for the whole set. Worth the wait for the slow shipping, they seem really nice and even have inlayed brass and mop on the tops.

Correction the set of 8 ebony pegs was $6.04! and free shipping. They are beautiful and very high quality. I'm so glad I did not try to make my own!
