I`m doin the gourd tunnel thing for growing them next year,,,i have some cattle fencing that will work great, just have to build frame work. Yeah i`m takin your advise and letting them lay out this winter.
no you just need to make sure they are hanging from a trellis when the grow and the necks will be straight enough. when these gourds grow on the ground the necks bend over and look like a swan. these are called speckled swan gourds and grow the perfect size neck for human hands. please email me at nicoladesignlabs@gmail.com and i'll give you my cell number or you can just send me your address. ill give you some grow tips too.
