    Great, but it could have been louder - If i was to remake the instrument again I would consider bastardising a bongo pig skin into the membrane..oh well maybe next time

    Cool -- I just picked up a salad bowl about that size at Goodwill for about $3. I was thinking about making
    a tom-ish drum, but maybe a gitter would be better. How does yours sound?

    Love this photo SGB. I think that dog is looking at the harp as a giant dog biscuit of some kind and planning how that may be eaten. What is the tuning of the guitar like instrument and I assume the scale is minor, hence the Aeolian reference?
