Saw Blade Chugger

23” scale length, approximately 200 and 100 lb test flourocarbon fishing line strings, GD tuned. Neck from a 2x4. Kluson locking tuners. 3D printed components including the PLAstic fantastic saw blade (original metal saw blade did not work with a piezo disc pickup).

You are correct A.D., AGP’s saw blade guitars inspired me to try my hand at one. To do one with a metal blade, I need to use metal strings and a magnetic pickup. I might reconsider that down the road, but I prefer fishing line strings at the moment. It was nice not to have to cut and glue together all those small pieces of wood. I am a lazy guitar builder!
