This acoustic two-string has already been trailed in discussions, but here it is in the wood. 45mm neck, 24" scale. Tiny A5-size body, so room for twenty-nine 'frets' (shame about no.27).

    Takes away the mystery, but others have been told, so you should be too- I just drill shallow holes where I want 'em (fret marker position for fretted, fret position for fretless), then fill with perfectly ordinary fine household filler, sand smooth, and linseed oil. With the sole exception of my very first 'can I REALLY build a musical instrument?' build, it's what I always do.

    I cannot imagine the things that could go wrong with inlay work <shudder>
