She's coming along nice. She'll be fretless. A beautiful smooth Ebony fingerboard on an Oak neck with a vintage Munising dough bowl for her pot.

    Thanks Bluesheart, Maddog. The goat stretched tight. Tuning machines and strings remain. More big bowls arrived today. I'm on a roll.

    Yep, I was hoping for a clear head also , but I bet the natural head looks and sounds great too.

    Thanks AGP. Jim it's too late. The goat's on. It will remain for the next head replacement to go to a transparent head. It's just starting to gain a thwack when flicked... :^)

    Looks great! It would be nice to use a clear/opaque head so the design would still be visible.
